St Pat's Summer Skills Program
The St. Patrick's Hockey Club is gauging interest from juniors (both new to the game and returning players and goalkeepers) regarding our club's annual Junior's Summer Skills Program. The Program is taking place at the Australian National University (ANU) Willow Fields on the following Saturday mornings: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th February 2026, between 8am-10am.
As per previous years there will be two x1hr sessions (8.00-9.00 session and 9.00-10.00 session). Across both sessions, the programs will accommodate the different age groups and skills profiles. he Hockey ACT Come and Try day is 28 February 2026
The 2025 Junior Competition kicks off on 1 May and concludes Sunday 20 September.

St Pats field teams in most year levels across the Hockey ACT Junior competition structures. We provide opportunities for every child and is 2025 we entered teams into every age group, with several enjoying success and
​
The numbers of players and the skill level of those players will determine how many teams are nominated and which divisions they are entered in.
In 2025:
Under 10s played on Saturday mornings at ANU "Willows", Lyneham or Tuggeranong
Under 12s played on Sunday morning at Lyneham, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan
Under 14s played on Sunday morning at Lyneham, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan
Junior State League - JSL1 - Friday evening at Lyneham, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan
Junior State League - JSL2 - Saturday morning at Lyneham, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan
Junior Capital League - CL18 - Sunday 11am/midday at Lyneham, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan. Note that we have been advised that in 2026 the girls are likely to play on a Friday night.

Training
The 2026 training allocations are yet to be determined. Most junior teams will train for one hour a week. ​
Training is unlikely to be held during school holidays - teams will be advised if their team is scheduled to train. ​
